Founder & Managing Director
Christian Gladdish
For Christian, exceptional projects begin long before construction starts. They begin with the confidence that every material, supplier and specification has been carefully considered, rigorously verified and aligned with the client's original vision. That philosophy has been shaped by a career spanning every stage of the construction industry. Beginning in contract administration with a Tier 1 Sydney contractor, Christian progressed into project management before becoming a Construction Manager with a boutique construction firm. He later founded and led his own construction business, overseeing projects across high-end residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and public sector developments. Throughout his career, Christian has worked within project teams delivering a combined portfolio exceeding $400 million annually, before going on to lead every aspect of his own business — from project delivery and commercial management to supplier relationships, business development and client engagement. That breadth of experience gives him a practical understanding of every decision that influences the success of a project. Having worked on both sides of the industry, Christian understands firsthand the pressures that contractors, consultants and clients face. More importantly, he understands where specifications are most vulnerable to compromise when programmes tighten, budgets shift and supply chains become more complex. That perspective has become one of Eminence's greatest strengths. The idea for Eminence grew from both experience and observation. Raised around his family's logistics business and having worked alongside Eminence's Logistics Director, Mark, since childhood, Christian developed an early appreciation for global supply chains. Combined with years of seeing contractors chase suppliers, manage delays and accept unnecessary compromises, it became clear there was a better way. Rather than simply sourcing products, Christian envisioned a trusted advisory that protects design intent, connects clients with carefully vetted suppliers and removes unnecessary complexity from the procurement journey. Today, Eminence works as an independent sourcing partner, helping developers, architects, family offices and private clients procure exceptional materials with confidence. Christian approaches every project as though it were his own. He believes successful sourcing is built on relationships, transparency and an uncompromising commitment to quality. For him, the objective is simple: protect the client's vision and deliver exactly what was intended.
